my very first car!

i can't believe it. i finally have my very own car! and it's a convertible! i'm in love. it's a little small, and a bit drafty, but it gets me where i need to go. check it out!

...ok so the car is less than 100% drivable, but it's still way fun! at my work christmas party on thursday we had a white elephant gift exchange, and as soon as i saw this baby, i had to have it! i felt a little guilty stealing it from a grown man that i work with, but he didn't cry too much about it, so i think i'm good.

on friday night before everyone went home for christmas, devin, dan, melissa, chelsea, elissa and i all went to see the lights at the riverwoods (another one of the things on my christmas to-do list! woo hoo!) they were so pretty and festive!

we had so much fun looking at the lights, chucking snowballs at each other, holding hands around the big tree and swaying back and forth like that one scene in the grinch (ok so that part was a little weird, i'll admit...haha), and warming up by the little fire pits. overall, a great way to start christmas vacation! definitely worth going again next year.
