i actually kind of hate the original song...so i was surprised by how much i loved the cover! apparently, he sang it at a local open mic night, and one of his fans recorded it and mixed it with the outkast music video and uploaded it to youtube, and it went viral, getting over 9 million hits in the last few years! it was also featured on the series finale of scrubs, which is kind of awesome.
i looked up some of his other songs, and they're really good too! see for yourself. plus, he has a killer beard. which means a lot coming from someone who loathes facial hair...
in other news, i'm flying to florida today. for reals. nbd.
