oh vacation...i will miss you.

thanksgiving break has been fabulous. and there's still 1 day left! i went up to my brother's house in sandy on wednesday, and we all just had a chill night watching the office, as usual. on thanksgiving we got to sleep in a bit and enjoyed not having to rush into anything. when we all finally rolled out of bed, we got to preparing the feast!! my favorite part was the reinstatement of the wright specialty: the infamous roll sandwich...

this sandwich is so deliciously messy that my parents banned us from eating it back home. literally. apparently they found it slightly impolite to pile turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn and gravy onto a roll and shove it in your mouth, as much of its scrumptiousness leaks out the sides with every bite. BUT, we don't live at home anymore, DO WE?? heh heh. thus, the resurrection of the roll sandwich has begun. my thanksgivings feel complete once again.

i also made a delicious chocolate pudding pie with heath bar bits, whip cream, and fudge topping. yummm.

most of us managed to stay in our pjs the whole day, and after the meal, the lounging began...people were sprawled out all over my brother's living room. it was wonderful. 

the rest of my weekend i was in ogden at my sister's house with this adorable little thing:

it was so fun catching up with livia and helping out with the baby. i seriously love that little girl. 

now i'm back in provo and things are very quiet again. i think i'll go get some homework done so next week won't have to be quite as crazy. cause there's nothing like a good dose of homework to slap you back into reality after a relaxing vacation! only 5 weeks til christmas break though! woo hoo!
