take this missy!

so last night my roommate, melissa (aka missy), walked in the door, gave me a hug, and informed me that i'm a crappy blogger (well, let's be honest, i average maybe...1 post a year?). needless to say, i just HAD to prove her wrong.

first of all, can i just say how AMAZING the rain was yesterday?? i got to wear the rain boots that my mom got me over the summer, which was the BEST cause i could splash through puddles all day long with the only consequence being several awkward and slightly judgmental glances from my peers...oh well. it was some of the most fun i've had in a long time.

also, funny story: on my way to astronomy yesterday, i was walking with a bunch of other students into the eyring science center on campus, and there was this one kid coming out of the building toward us on the left. the girl in front of me went through his door (instead of opening the one to the right and going through it), and the guy blurted out in disgust, "TWO DOORS!!!" and stormed away. it. was. HILARIOUS! seriously. i laughed out loud. i couldn't believe how offended he was. silly boys.

today's highlight was my sfl 222 class, which is where i get to be in the byu preschool as a teacher's aid for their morning class. it is seriously the funnest thing ever. we got to play with magnets and read "the little red hen" and learn how to make bread. it was adorable. but mostly i just love the way they are so enthusiastic about EVERYthing, and that they can fall in love with you in like 4.2 seconds. it's so refreshing when these little people immediately accept you (well, most of them do at least) and want to be your best friend. it's ridiculous how at home i feel in that place. oh and did i mention RECESS and SNACK TIME! yep. i love preschool.
